About The Author

I grew up in a Christian family that taught me about God throughout my younger years. I had moments of closeness with the Lord as well as times of questioning. There were times throughout my life, when I experienced His hand directing my path as well as times I felt He had abandoned me and distanced Himself from me. In my mid-thirties, I experienced a very testing time in my life. I was left questioning the goodness of God yet yearning for His goodness to be true. Though that time was the worst years of my life, those were the years I came to fully realize who God truly was and who I was because of Him. My life has been radically changed since that moment and my heart desires nothing more than to see others, no matter their age, gain that same understanding.

I am married to Neil Stabley. Our family is “Blended and Blessed” with a total of five children and two grandchildren. We live in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. I have had various careers in my lifetime: architectural / mechanical drafting and design, settlement coordination for a home builder, flower delivery, bank teller, and author. My first book is entitled H.E.R.O. of Faith. I originally wrote it as a family devotion to do with my children but was later called to publish, by the Lord’s prompting, so that others would be encouraged and edified to seek out the Lord’s greater purposes for their lives.
